This game really looks like a lot of fun, coming out of the 15th of March. Seems like its kinda like an all American hero. Trying to kill off the commies and save freedom, all in the name of justice. So lets see what steam has to say.

  • Discover a terrifyingly plausible near-future world – the familiar has become alien in this nightmare vision of Occupied USA

  • Fight for a cause – join a cast of memorable characters as your resistance cell wages a guerrilla war against overwhelming military odds in the name of Freedom

  • Witness the human cost of war – a gripping story from the pen of John Milius is told through immersive, interactive 1st person cut scenes

  • Experience explosive FPS gameplay – battle through a dynamic mix of infantry and vehicle combat in a gripping single player campaign boasting intense, memorable set pieces

  • Take the battle online – experience large scale multiplayer action like never before in epic infantry and vehicle warfare

  • New plausible future? Eh I dunno if I totally see North Korea  being able to take over Asia, Dunno how NK would be able to dominate China.

Fight for a cause! Yes! We all love feeling important in our time spent playing killing loads of people in the name of freedom!

The human cost of war! So we are going to kill lots and lots of people, and see lots and lots of our own people die, very good! Everyone loves a nice amount of death.

Explosive! Explosions! Woot! Everyone loves explosions, especially very well done explosions. Yeah its fun to blow up a tank, but its has to look good too.

Alright then, this game sounds pretty good so far, coming out in little over a month. Will probably get it and maybe do a review. What are your thoughts on Home Front?

    World of Warcraft

Yes, the dreaded WoW. I use to play quite often but found it dull and repeating. Now with all this extra free time on my hands iv been debating whether or not I should play again. I know a new expansion came out, but is it actually any better now then it was? Is it still grind quests, raid or PvP? I my self was a PvPer for it was never the same like raids and instances.

Also, as for classes, anything new get added in? I do know of the 2 new races, which I think is ridiculous. Goblins? Seems like they must of really been grabbing for straws on that one. I originally played a warrior and got quite good at it, seeing as I could beat the majority of everyone on my serve in duels, world pvp, and BG's. Are they still as good as they were or has Blizzard once again nerfed them after an expansion came out?

One big thing i did notice is they shortened the talent trees, a lot. Seriously i think the last time I the talent tree's were huge! 71 points was a lot of talents. Also I did read something about mastery? Never heard of that.

Anyways if anyone could comment, give me some handy advice on the current situation that'd be awesome. Thanks in advance.

    Retribution

Anyone else notice the Dawn of War 2 expansion coming out next month? Man I can't wait, love the Imperial Guard. I personally collect a Warhammer 40k Imperial Guard army so I was extremely stoked to hear they were the new race being implemented this time around. Would be nice though if they actually put in 2 or 3 races per expansion, but im sure they wouldn't make enough money that way :P

If you had your choice, which race would you rather have then the Imperial Guard

    A true good day.

You ever have one of those days that just pass by so well you rarely look at the clock? I had a day like that today, it was spectacular. Everything seemed to just fall into place perfectly as the day went by. I work at a paintball park as a referee, so I do deal with assholes, douchebags, teens who "think" they know paintball, but every once in a while you run into a group of people who just make your day so much easier. That was my day, I had a private group of about 14 people, some who had never played before, some who I had meet before at the park previously before. But the thing was, they all understood and followed the rules. This is amazing when it comes to paintball, you always have people taking their goggles off, or shooting in the parking lot, or not putting their barrel plugs in. Combined with a generally awesome mood I was in, the day went like clockwork. It was just a completely spectacular day, theres no other way of putting.

You ever have a day like this? All I know is, I wish everyday was like today. Also, any of you guys play paintball? If so, wheres your favorite field?

    War is everywhere!

Hey guys, anyone play the Total War series? doesn't matter which one, I personally cannot wait for Shogun Total War 2 to come out. I really love the Total war style of play. If I had to choose I would say Medieval Total War 2 + Kingdoms expansion would be my favorite for play and mods, but Rome Total War would be my favorite for the time period.

Speaking of mods, does anyone know what Warhammer is? Medieval TW has got an absolutely awesome mod called "Call of Warhammer," completely based on the Warhammer fantasy universe. They have done an amazing job polishing the models and working out balancing game play. Downloading it how ever was a complete pain in the ass, but totally worth it. Sadly not all the races are depicted as they are still working on it but its awesome.

So, for you guys if you played any of the Total War series what was your favorite? Didn't play Total War? Then whats your favorite strategy? Don't care for strategy? Well I guess your SOL on this one then.

    Steam!

I am going to assume the majority of you know what steam is, but do you know what steam I am talking about? yes, the program steam, not steam steam. Do you ever just get super tired of steam? I mean honestly I hate steam sometimes, I try to install a game and instead of using my disks, it just downloads it and takes 3 times as long. Any game that also requires "windows live" or any other kinda bull crap like that is just annoying sometimes. Yes Steam and Windows Live do have some cool stuff, but the majority of the time they make it straight up annoying.

Like I tried playing Dawn of War 2 offline, my internet was out, and windows live kept on demanding I make an account online. So after 15 minutes of frustration it finally let me log in, offline. One helpful thing I did notice with Steam was being able to search for games, not buy them, just search. Seeing whats new coming out and such like. Also the ability to re-install your games via internet on any computer as long as you long in to your steam account. This actually has been helpful the many times I reformatted my computer, from XP to vista back to XP to Windows 7.

Tell me, you ever have any really bad or really frustrating times with Steam or a program like it?

    Hail to the king baby!

Anyone old enough to remember duke nukem? I sure am, it makes sense that they finally are redoing duke nukem so this generation can feel what it means to "bet on the duke". He never really had a story line though, which was ok giving it had some prety kick ass content for its day in age, remember being able to use vending machines? or turning lights on and off. Or Being able to literally, kick ass, with his boot. Good times good times, anyone else going to be getting the new one?
